GamesAid appoints six new trustees to board
New trustees join to support charity through digital sales, community management and operational assistance
Friday 28th April – GamesAid has appointed six new trustees to join its board to support the charity’s mission to support children’s charities across the country.
Antonia Johnson, Abigail Heppe, Grace Shin, Melissa Chaplin and Wayne Emanuel are all set for their first appointment as a GamesAid trustee board of trustee, with Matt Spall – a previous chair of the charity – also returning to the fold.
The trustees have been appointed to the board to help further GamesAid’s work through a renewed focus on digital fundraising, supporting the growth of GamesAid’s community of members and former trustees and improving its operational procedures.
“We’re excited to welcome new trustees to the GamesAid board,” said George Osborn, Co-Chair of GamesAid. “Our expanded board will enable GamesAid to increase the range of work it does on behalf of our causes and in partnership with the industry, ensuring that the charity is excellently placed to deliver on its ongoing mission.”
GamesAid is also preparing to announce the date of its charity elections soon as it prepares to select its causes for support in 2023/2024.
